HOUSE ROBERTSON

Located at ‘Le Domain’, Black River, Mauritius. The client approached us with a large site. They wanted to do 2 modern homes that took advantage of the views of the surrounding mountains whilst maintaining their privacy. Surrounding views of the mountains on a flat site with neighbours and the main access road made it a small challenge to create a comfortable private space whilst capturing the views. The two houses where offset, being next to each other, this allowed for a staggered position that improved the privacy of the entertainment areas and garden. The open plan design, modern feel and high ceilings linked to the outside covered patio, flowing onto the pool created a large inside open space with dual aspect views and orientation. The crossflow and well-planned living/kitchen area make this house a comfort to live in.

With the clients’ comments of ‘Beautiful’, ‘Lots of light’ and ‘great space’, we feel we have met their expectations and more. Another happy client.
